  • What is Beta testing ?
A product's beta version is released when the functional development and in-house testing have been completed. The new product is ready to be tested in real scenarios, in combination with various hardware, and in unexpected use cases.
Beta testing however, is not just an evaluation. You need to be prepared for bugs, some expected, some not, which may limit functionality in certain environments.
  • What do you need to be a Beta Tester?
    • A car with a USB input for music playback (factory or Dension Gateway 300/500)
    • An optional WIFI network in your home, with a range covering your parking place
    • Optionally if you want to test hotspot functionality: A 3G USB Dongle, or a 3G enabled Bluetooth mobile phone
    • A Windows PC
  • Terms
    • You can purchase the beta product for 99 EUR + shipping cost
    • At the end of the test, Dension will replace your Beta with a new, market version of the product
    • You have to accept a detailed Beta testing agreement upon registration
